Hello and welcome!
It is that time in the month for Eileen Hull's Educator Team to share some ideas and inspiration and this month both teams are using the Chapter 3 Christmas Release dies for "Four Seasons Crafting" - showing how versatile Eileen's dies are for all year crafting even though they may be a Christmas release.
I am not a great card maker but I do like to send individually made cards to friends and family and so have been playing around with the shapes of the Chapter 3 dies to see what I could put together.
This little card stands alone but is quite sturdy and will soon be winging it's way to a family member for their birthday at the beginning of September.
Changing the way the leaves are curled and adding a different centre makes for quite a different style flower.
Thank you for joining me today and as always happy crafting!

CUTTING THE CARDS
TRUCK
![]() |
Cut a piece of cardstock 71/2" x 31/2" and score 1/2" down the side for the flap |
![]() |
Fold over the flap and lay the cardstock over the truck on the die .... |
![]() |
.... leaving a gap at the end for the fold. |
![]() |
This is how it cuts. |
![]() |
Cut a full size truck without a flap. |
![]() |
Line up the two trucks and mark how much to trim from the full size truck. |
![]() |
The two truck pieces can be layered and the flap secured with glue. |

The finished card! |
CIRCULAR CARDS
![]() |
Cut a piece of cardstock 3.5" x 7" and score at 3.5" |
![]() |
Cut a circle using the die leaving a very small area on the fold of the cardstock uncut. |
![]() |
On the circle with the fold, fold up one of the circles so all edges meet |
![]() |
It should look like this! |
![]() |
Glue the single circle onto the folded circle ...... |

So it looks like this! |
